I paint and refinish kitchen cabinets in Elk River. I'm based here, so your walk-through is close to home for me too. I've painted about 200 kitchens, and one of them is a sage green kitchen I did in Elk River. The photos are below.

An Elk River job
This is a sage green kitchen I did in Elk River a few years ago. I don't have a color code for it, so I'm not going to invent one.
These are after photos only. I don't have a before for this one.

A green looks different in your kitchen's light than it does on a chip at the store. That's why I bring samples and we look at them on your cabinets, instead of picking from a fan deck.
If you like a green like this one, tell me and we'll start from there. If you want a green with a name and a code, Pewter Green (SW 6208) is the one I painted on a St. Michael kitchen, and every color I've used is on my colors page.
Your kitchen
Your doors and drawer fronts come back to my shop and get sprayed there. The cabinet boxes are sprayed on site, under masking, with the kitchen sealed off behind a dust wall.
You can keep using your kitchen while I work, and you don't need to empty cabinets that are easy to reach. Most kitchens take about a week, sometimes a week and a half.
I use Sherwin-Williams Extreme Bond primer, with Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series or ILVA as the topcoat, usually in a 20 sheen. The paint takes about 30 days to fully cure, so go easy on it that first month.
Every job comes with my 2-year workmanship warranty. It covers peeling or failure from my prep or application, not normal wear, impact, or water damage.
Why me
I learned the trade in my dad's finishing shop and on residential and commercial job sites, starting when I was 16.
I've painted about 200 kitchens, and I also prefinish cabinets and woodwork for cabinet makers. I have a small crew, but I do most of the work myself.

Yes. This is my home base, not a town I drive in for. The estimate can start with photos texted to (763) 370-6121.

Yes. The sage green kitchen on this page is here, and there's more in the gallery. The Pewter Green kitchen is in St. Michael, not this town. If you want a specific color, ask and I'll send photos.
I don't list a price. It depends on how many doors and drawer fronts there are, their condition, how big the color change is, paint versus stain, and extras like an island or vanities. The estimate is free. Start with photos.
Then I'll say so. Painting makes sense when the boxes are solid and you like the layout. If the boxes are failing or you want a new layout, replacement is the better call. I don't reface or replace. The longer version is on the paint-or-replace page.
More on my cabinet painting page, and the longer answer on paint or replace.

I also work in Otsego, Rogers, Zimmerman, Big Lake, and St. Michael.
