White Dove
Benjamin Moore White Dove OC-17 LRV 83.16
A soft white. Not the brightest one I use.
These are colors I've painted on cabinets, not a list of favorites from a fan deck. I've painted about 200 kitchens. I spray Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series or ILVA, usually in a 20 sheen. If the color you want is Benjamin Moore or another brand, I match it into that product. It isn't a can of the other brand. I bring a sample, and we look at it on your cabinets.

Whites
I've painted three. They're all white. They're not the same white, and I'm not going to tell you one of them wins. Your kitchen decides that.
Benjamin Moore White Dove OC-17 LRV 83.16
A soft white. Not the brightest one I use.
Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace OC-65 LRV 90.04
The brightest white of the three.
Sherwin-Williams Snowbound SW 7004 LRV 82.771
A white that sits a little quieter than Chantilly Lace.

Green
Pewter Green, Sherwin-Williams SW 6208, LRV 11.826, is the named green. I painted it on a St. Michael kitchen: the base cabinets and the island only, with a Gallery Series topcoat in a 20 sheen, finished in September 2026. The uppers were already white, and I left them alone.
I also did a sage green kitchen in Elk River a few years ago. That one doesn't have a color name or code, so it's on the Elk River page instead of here.

Two-tone
A darker bottom and a lighter top. I don't have to paint every cabinet the same color to get that.
The one real example I can show you is the St. Michael kitchen: Pewter Green on the base cabinets and the island, with the white uppers that were already there left alone. Pick the darker color for the bottom, keep the top light, and the kitchen changes without every door getting painted.
See the St. Michael kitchenSheen and matching
I usually use a 20 sheen. It has a soft, low shine that wipes clean and doesn't show every smudge.
I can also stain cabinets or match a color you already have. Matching means I put your color, from the name and code or a chip, into the product I spray. It doesn't mean I buy a gallon of the other brand.
If you're still deciding whether to paint at all, start with paint or replace. How the work goes is on my cabinet painting page.
Common questions
I don't pick a winner. I've painted Benjamin Moore White Dove (OC-17), Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace (OC-65), and Sherwin-Williams Snowbound (SW 7004). Chantilly Lace is the brightest of those three. The right one is the one that looks right on your cabinets, so I bring a sample.
Chantilly Lace reflects the most light (LRV 90.04). White Dove is 83.16 and Snowbound is 82.771, so those two are softer than Chantilly Lace. White Dove and Chantilly Lace are Benjamin Moore colors, so I match them into the paint I spray. Snowbound is a Sherwin-Williams color.
Yes. On a St. Michael kitchen I painted the base cabinets and the island Pewter Green and left the white uppers alone. That's a darker bottom and a lighter top, without painting every cabinet.

Yes. Bring the name and the code, or a chip, and I'll match it. I spray Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series or ILVA, so a Benjamin Moore color gets matched into that product. It isn't a can of Benjamin Moore.
About 30 days to fully cure. The job itself is usually about a week, sometimes a week and a half, and you can keep using the kitchen while I work. Cure time is not the same as how many years the finish lasts. I don't put a year count on it.
Yes. I don't fill oak grain, so the grain still shows. If you want that look, fine. If you don't, tell me before we start.
Every cabinet job comes with my 2-year workmanship warranty. It covers peeling or failure from my prep or application, not normal wear, impact, or water damage.
